FTR #641 Were We Controlled? (Part II), The Collapse of Bear Stearns (Tue, 02 Sep 2008)
REALAUDIO INTRODUCTION: Beginning with disturbing analysis of the apparent sabotage of investment bank Bear Stearns, this program highlights apparent maneuvering in the world of big business and high finance by corporate elements associated with the global Nazi money machine and the political interests served by it. Sending shock waves through an already-troubled financial landscape, the collapse of Bear Stearns in March of 2008 may well have been deliberately engineered by forces hostile to the firm. Among the possible co-conspirators in this gambit are three hedge funds and Deutsche Bank, a principal element of the Bormann capital network. Presentation of the destruction of Bear Stearns--in what one company insider described as an assault by "the shorts"--is set against the background of the short-selling operations associated with the assassination of President Kennedy and the attacks of September 11, 2001. Among the players in the events of 11/22/1963 was the giant German/Argentine commodities trading firm of Bunge, which recently increased its global profile in the marketing of corn syrup, a key ingredient in the production of many foodstuffs. The rise in the price of essential commodities such as corn--driven by market speculation-- threatens much of the world with dire hardship and even starvation. Concluding the program, the discussion notes the combining of the I.G. Farben-derived Fischer-Tropsch Process with the culturing of algae, in order to consume the carbon dioxide generated by that fuel-synthesizing technique. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The employment of a key former Bear Stearns employee by Deutsche Bank; suspicions on the part of Bear Stearns Personnel that the former employee may well have had much to do with the sabotage that brought down Bear Stearns; the role of "novation requests" in the destruction of Bear Stearns; a recent ruling by the SEC that may well have resulted from the attack on Bear Stearns; the beneficial capital profile of Deutsche Bank and possible co-conspirator Credit Suisse in the wake of the collapse of Bear Stearns; a recap of the torpedoing of Wall Street on 11/22/1963. 1. Analyzing the collapse of Bear Stearns, the program sets forth information strongly suggesting that the firm's demise was deliberately engineered by hostile forces that profited from the company's death. Against the background of the apparent sabotage of Bear Stearns, the second side of the broadcast recaps the torpedoing of Wall Street on the morning of 11/22/1963, an event that was greatly exacerbated by the assassination of President Kennedy that afternoon. Contemplating the death of Bear Stearns, one might consider: the profits derived from the caper by its engineers; the potential for widespread destruction of the U.S. financial infrastructure by gambits of this type; the potential for intimidation of individuals and institutions that might consider resisting the will of the architects of the operation. As discussed below, factual and historical evidence points in the direction of the Underground Reich and its Bormann economic/capital network as the most likely culprit in this affair. “ . . . It was then, questioning his trading desks downstairs, that [Bear Stearns Chief Financial Officer Sam] Molinaro first heard the rumor: Bear was having liquidity troubles, Wall Street’s way of saying the firm was running out of money. Molinaro made a face. This was crazy. There was no liquidity problem. Bear had about $18 billion in cash reserves. Yet the whiff of gossip Molinaro heard that morning was the first tiny ripple in what within hours would grow into a tidal wave of rumor and speculation that would crash down upon Bear Stearns and, in the span of one fateful week, destroy a firm that had thrived on Wall Street since its founding, in 1923. The fall of Bear Stearns wasn’t just another financial collapse. There has never been anything on Wall Street to compare to it: a ‘run’ on a major investment bank, caused in large part not by a criminal indictment or some mammoth quarterly loss but by rumor and innuendo that, as best one can tell, had little basis in fact. Bear had endured more than its share of self-inflicted wounds in the previous year, but there was no reason it had to die that week in March. What happened? Was it death by natural causes, or was it, as some suspect, murder? More than a few veteran Wall Streeters believe an investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission will uncover evidence that Bear was the victim of a gigantic ‘bear raid’—that is, a malicious attack brought by so-called short-sellers, the vultures of Wall Street, who make bets that a firm’s stock will go down. It’s a surprisingly difficult theory to prove, and nothing short of government subpoenas is likely to do it. Faced with a thicket of lawsuits and federal investigations, not a soul in Bear’s boardroom will speak for the record, but on background, a few are finally ready to name names. . . .”“Bringing Down Bear Stearns” by Bryan Burrough; Vanity Fair; August/2008; p. 108. 2. Despite the fact that Bear had strong capital liquidity, a "run" on the institution was started by hedge funds placing "novation“ requests (explained in the text that follows). ". . .the first to pull their money from Bear were several major hedge funds. So Molinaro and his men canvassed the repo lenders, which give banks billions of dollars in overnight loans that have to be renewed each day. However, Molinaro found that all planned to ‘roll over’ Bear’s loans the next morning. ‘Nobody was cutting us off,’ says a Bear executive involved in the events. ‘There was a lot of chatter though. The hedge funds were agitated. That was concerning, because they could influence the outcome by pulling out cash balances. The same day, Bear executives noticed a worrisome development whose potential significance they would not appreciate for weeks. It involved an avalanche of what are called ‘novation’ requests. When a firm wants to rid itself of a contract that carries credit risk with another firm, in this case Bear Stearns, it can either sell the contract back to Bear or, in a novation request, to a third firm for a fee. By Tuesday afternoon, three big Wall Street companies—Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank—were experiencing a torrent of novation requests for Bear instruments. Alan Schwartz thought it strange that so many requests were being channeled to the same three firms, but did his best to assure them all that Bear remained on sound footing. ‘Deutsche Bank we talked to, and they said, ‘We’re getting killed!’’ says a Bear executive. “We said, ‘We’ll take you out of your positions,’ and we did. But it was too late.’ . . .”Ibid.; p. 151. 3. A major culprit and [perhaps] beneficiary of the apparently-engineered demise of Bear Stearns appears to have been Deutsche Bank and/or persons and elements within that institution. Note in this context that Deutsche Bank--like the other German core companies and financial insitutions--are part of the Underground Reich/Bormann capital network. REALAUDIO Revisiting Daniel Hopsicker, this program highlights a number of stories he has covered over the years, all of which deal in some capacity with the air traffic through South Florida. Beginning with his investigative reporting into the flight training schools and airlines implicated in the 9/11 attacks, Daniel has pursued evidentiary tributaries leading to and from those institutions, uncovering a wide variety of criminal activities. In addition to powerful criminal syndicates and elements of intelligence services from the U.S. and other countries, Daniel has uncovered machinations of powerful fascist organizations, Islamofascist organizations in particular. Much of the discussion explores Daniel's more recent stories, with extemporaneous supplemental conversation bringing some of his older work into recent context. Program Highlights Include: Discussion of a recent Madcow article detailing the use of a plane placed at the disposal of the McCain campaign; discussion of the use of that plane to evacuate prominent Saudis from the United States in the immediate aftermath of 9/11; a synoptic account of a Madcow story setting forth the crash of a CIA-connected drug plane connected to the 9/11 attacks; the death in the crash of that drug plane of a prominent Venezuelan executive of Smartmatic, the parent company of Sequoia Voting Systems; review of the links between Smartmatic and Hugo Chavez; brief analysis of a Guyanese pilot connected to the milieu of Mohamed Atta and the 9/11 hijackers. 1. In addition, the program touched on a number of recent articles written by Daniel. With election year upon us, it is interesting to take stock of the fact that a plane placed at the service of McCain's campaign by one of his many lobbyists was used to ferry Saudi royals out of the United States in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. Tellingly [and predictably] the major media focused on the possibility that McCain may have executed a "soft landing" on the lobbyist, rather than on the aircraft and its past passengers. Supplementing Daniel's coverage of the intelligence-connected drug trafficking milieu through which Atta and company infiltrated South Florida, the broadcast referenced an article about a Guyanese pilot linked to the drug trafficking and [apparently] elements of the CIA. A fascinating development concerns the death of Jose Alfredo Anzola-a Venezuelan national with links to the corrupt Smartmatic voting machine company. [Smartmatic is the parent company of Sequoia Voting Systems.] This individual died in the crash of a CIA-connected drug plane. In FTR#576, we looked at the links of this milieu to both Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez and economic elements linked to the Underground Reich through some of the elements of the old I.G. Farben complex. The crashed drug plane had links to elements of the milieu involved in the 9/11 attacks, including evidentiary tributaries running in the direction of Wally Hilliard, the owner of Huffman Aviation. FTR #639 The Aliens Are Coming! The Aliens Are Coming—NOT! Part II (Tue, 22 Jul 2008)
Further developing a point of information introduced at the conclusion of FTR#638, the broadcast begins by noting that a scientist has designed a prototype of a sophisticated electrical flying saucer. As discussed in that program, there are firm indications that UFO’s are real, but do not come from “outer space” and are not piloted by “aliens.” UFO sightings continue to make the news, with a well-publicized incident in Texas garnering worldwide, mainstream press coverage. Next, the broadcast revisits the concern about the possibility of an “intergalactic war” expressed by former Canadian Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister Paul Hellyer. The Japanese Defense Minister also is concerned about interplanetary warfare. The “mainstreaming” of belief in extraterrestrials is a phenomenon to be very carefully considered. Are we being psychologically prepared for some sort of “alien” appearance? The Vatican has also weighed in on Space Aliens and UFO’s, opining that belief in the existence of “extraterrestrials” is not inconsistent with Catholic dogma. A fascinating manifestation of “ET Belief” concerns an alleged race of tall, blond “aliens” who will save us in our time of peril! This belief in the existence of “good,” tall, blond aliens who will save us should be contrasted with material highlighted in FTR#170--recapitulated on the second side of this program. “Everybody is descended from space aliens, except for the black race.” The clear implication is that they are inferior! University of Florida mechanical and aerospace engineering associate professor Subrata Roy has submitted a patent application for a circular, spinning aircraft design reminiscent of the spaceships seen in countless Hollywood films. It’s probably an airplane, said his wife, Wendy, who didn’t budge from the couch. Only 8-year-old Ryan went to the front yard. That’s a UFO, the boy said. . . . Soon, scores more said they had seen the same thing. . . . On a cold January night in nearby Selden, Steve Allen, 50, and a few friends standing around a fire saw a set of brilliant white lights that were quicker and quieter than anything they had ever seen. The lights stopped near Stephenville, reconfigured to form an arch ‘shaped like the top of a football,’ Allen said, and realigned themselves into two vertical lines of randomly flashing lights. . . . . Ten minutes later, the group saw the lights coming from the opposite direction. Trailing them closely, Allen was certain were two military jets followed by two massive red orbs. . . . Next, the broadcast revisits the concern about the possibility of an “intergalactic war” expressed by former Canadian Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister Paul Hellyer. “A former Canadian Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister under Pierre Trudeau has joined forces with three non-governmental organizations to ask the Parliament of Canada to hold public hearings on Exopolitics -- relations with ‘ETs.’ By ‘ETs,’ Mr. Hellyer and these organizations mean ethical, advanced extraterrestrial civilizations that may now be visiting Earth. On September 25, 2005, in a startling speech at the University of Toronto that caught the attention of mainstream newspapers and magazines, Paul Hellyer, Canada’s Defense Minister from 1963-67 under Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prime Minister Lester Pearson, publicly stated: ‘UFOs, are as real as the airplanes that fly over your head.’ Mr. Hellyer went on to say, ‘I'm so concerned about what the consequences might be of starting an intergalactic war, that I just think I had to say something.’ Hellyer revealed, ‘The secrecy involved in all matters pertaining to the Roswell incident was unparalleled. The classification was, from the outset, above top secret, so the vast majority of U.S. officials and politicians, let alone a mere allied minister of defense, were never in-the-loop.’ Hellyer warned, ‘The United States military are preparing weapons which could be used against the aliens, and they could get us into an intergalactic war without us ever having any warning. The Japanese Defense Minister also is concerned about interplanetary warfare: The “mainstreaming” of belief in extraterrestrials is a phenomenon to be very carefully considered. The Vatican has also weighed in on Space Aliens and UFO’s. “ . . . In the interview by the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano, Funes said that such a notion ‘doesn’t contradict our faith’ because aliens would still be God’s creatures. A fascinating manifestation of “ET Belief” concerns an alleged race of tall, blond “aliens” who will save us in our time of peril! Tall, blond “aliens”—good. Black terrestrials—bad. Doesn’t sound too Goddamn “extraterrestrial”! Sounds very, very terrestrial! In fact, it sounds Nazi! “ . . . ‘The aliens gave me warnings of a possible future in which the planet and/or the human race could face destruction. They asked me to share with you what role they will play if we are threatened as a species or if there is a threat to the Earth itself. . . . The second side of the program is comprised of a re-broadcast of FTR#170, “Plan Nine from Berchtesgaden.” Recorded on 9/19/1999, the program discusses an occult concept of “The Nine,” who are—take your pick—space aliens, the ancestors of everyone and everything (except the black race), especially the ancient Egyptians. If this sounds a little far-fetched, it is. Sadly, some people believe in it. The central element in this concatenation is the notion that all humans are descended from space aliens, except for the African race. Mr. Emory notes that the Nation of Islam propagates a philosophy that features the notion that Elijah Muhammad, founder of the organization, is orbiting the earth in a giant mother ship. At “The appointed Hour” the ship will land—presumably with others of its kind—and spirit all the black folks to some sort of “Heaven.” In his ancillary discussion, Mr. Emory compares this fanciful notion with the Nazis’ plan to “resettle the Jews in the East.” Of course, we know just how and where they actually were “resettled.” Mr. Emory sees the scenario described here as a cross between Marcus Garvey’s Black Star Liners and the boxcars to Auschwitz. (Garvey garnered a large following in the early 20th century proposing that there would be a black “reverse diaspora,” in which the descendants of the African slaves would be returned to Africa in large ships dubbed Black Star Liners.) Note that FTR#’s 67, 167, 178 also discuss “Aryan” and/or blond aliens. 8. For purposes of convenience, the description for FTR#170 is presented here: With the end of the millennium drawing near, it is increasingly important to be aware of possible political manipulation of people's apocalyptic fears and hopes. In that context, a channeling cult called “The Nine” bears particular examination. Purporting to be the “Ennead” (the nine gods of ancient Egypt), they have links to many different individuals and institutions including: Andrija Puharich (connected to the CIA's mind control programs of the 50's and 60's), Russians associated with the Gorbachev regime in the former USSR, the Esalen Institute and numerous New Age organizations. This organization espouses a racist, ariosophist philosophy that maintains that all of the Earth's peoples are descended from The Nine—and the “Extraterrestrials” from whom they supposedly evolved--(and, consequently, superior) except for the black race (who are, consequently, inferior.) With the New Age movement growing and with 42% of American college graduates believing that we have been visited by space aliens, the danger that the views of The Nine could achieve widespread acceptance and lead to genocide is not one that should be too readily cast aside. (It should be noted that there is convincing evidence that so-called UFO's are real, but do not come from outer space. Should they be deployed in conjunction with other types of secret technology, the views of The Nine could be reinforced in a very convincing way.) As noted above, Andrija Puharich, whose organization has done much to promote The Nine, was involved with the CIA mind-control programs. Those programs were initiated from a research base developed by the Nazis in World War II. Recorded June 15, 2008 REALAUDIO [Available 9pm] Beginning with the subject of Robert Kennedy’s assassination, the program notes that the official version of the killing remains fundamentally inadequate. Mr. Emory synopsizes some of the key aspects of the physical evidence and the evidentiary tributaries leading in the direction of the corridors of power, as well as America’s other political assassinations. Next, the broadcast sets forth the latest developments in the O.J. Simpson case. As America fields its first African/American major party presidential candidate, O.J. is back in the news, not only because of his recent arrest while attempting to recover sports memorabilia stolen from him, but because of the publication of a book entitled If I Did It. Examining the possibility of right-wing terrorism during this historic election season, the discussion notes the arrest of a Texan with a 25-gallon container of cyanide, as well as the indictment of a mysterious German-American for possession of ricin. Supplementing Mr. Emory’s decades-long coverage of Colonia Dignidad-a German/Chilean Nazi outpost, the program highlights apparent Bormann network capital support for the compound and its fascist activities. Another story Mr. Emory has followed for decades is the saga of Monzer al-Kassar, a Syrian-born weapons dealer with a sinister curriculum vitae of great length and complexity. Recently arrested and extradited to the United States, al-Kassar has been involved in weapons dealing, drug trafficking and terrorism on behalf of the intelligence services of numerous countries, including America’s. A major player in the Iran/Contra scandal, al-Kassar has long operated in conjunction with the Underground Reich. Among the most important stories updated by Mr. Emory is the revelation that the disappearance of the honeybees so essential to agriculture may be due to a pesticide marketed by Bayer CropScience. Anticipating subject material presented in FTR#639, the program notes the development by a Florida professor of a revolutionary type of flying saucer, similar to those depicted in science fiction movies. Program Highlights Include: Review of the Bormann capital network’s control of the major German corporations; the unsealing (after 60 years) of an archive of Third Reich documents; Rockefeller descendants’ attempts to get ExxonMobil to switch emphasis from oil to renewable energy sources; review of the pivotal role of the Bormann capital network and the Underground Reich in the Standard Oil corporate complex; discussion of the impact of violence in the Muslim world on global oil prices. 1. Revisiting a controversial subject covered at length and detail by Mr. Emory over the years, the broadcast sets forth the latest developments in the O.J. Simpson case. As America fields its first African/American major party presidential candidate, O.J. is back in the news, not only because of his recent arrest while attempting to recover sports memorabilia stolen from him, but because of the publication of a book entitled If I Did It. Noting the political context surrounding the book’s publication, Mr. Emory observed that the book was published by a subsidiary of Ruppert Murdoch’s NewsCorp. That company was headed by the lover of Bernard Kerik, the former NYPD official selected by George Bush to be the first director of the Office of Homeland Security. Kerik has been indicted for alleged wrongdoing. Other supplemental discussion centered on the disturbing body of evidence implicating detective Mark Fuhrman in the murder. Simpson and a memorabilia dealer planned an operation to retrieve personal items Simpson said were stolen from him, according to FBI reports obtained Friday by the Associated Press. . .” (“FBI Knew of O.J. Simpson Plan in Advance” by Linda Deutsch and Ken Ritter; Associated Press; 11/3/2007.) 3. One of the many fascinating sidelights to the case concerns the “sports memorabilia angle,” to coin a term. The event that led to O.J.’s arrest. [about which the FBI had foreknowledge for weeks] involved the recovery of sports memorabilia that were [allegedly] stolen from O.J.’s home! Who stole them, when and how? Mr. Emory noted that a well-known Bay Area talk show host—the late Duane Garrett of KGO-AM in San Francisco—was a sports memorabilia dealer, as well as a long-time Democratic Party activist. Roughly a week after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, Garret alleged on his program that Eddie De Bartolo, Jr. [then owner of the San Francisco 49’ers] offered O.J. millions of dollars to become the first African/American NFL franchise owner. According to Garrett, O.J. declined because of De Bartolo’s alleged organized crime connections. Shortly afterward, Garrett began receiving death threats and then went off the Golden Gate Bridge roughly a year later—an alleged suicide. (For more about organized crime and the NFL—including allegations of De Bartolo mob connections, see FTR#304.) “ . . .’The guy flat-out told me he had items stolen from O.J.’s house,’ Riccio told the AP. ‘I have a legitimate business. . . .” (Idem.) 4. As the country gears up for the first presidential campaign featuring a major party African-American candidate; there are concerns that the white supremacist community may be cooking up something big. What did the fellow discussed in this story have in mind? “The FBI claims a Texas man told an informant he had a 25-gallon drum with enough cyanide inside to ‘kill a city.’ . . .” (“No Clear Terror Threat in Texas Cyanide Case” by Jeff Latzke; Associated Press; 5/15/2008.) 5. A Las Vegas man has been charged in connection with possession of the deadly toxin ricin. As discussed in FTR#631, media reports of Mr. [Von] Bergendorff’s ricin-connected activities referred to him as “Von”—the prefix reserved for titled German aristocracy. Why the change in the media’s disposition toward this individual? Is he associated with the Underground Reich? “An unemployed graphic designer who authorities believe was nearly killed by ricin was arrested Wednesday on federal charges that he possessed the deadly toxin as part of an ‘exotic idea,’ never carried out, to poison his enemies. Roger [Von] Bergendorff, who authorities allege began making ricin a decade ago, was arrested upon his release from the hospital where he had been treated since Feb. 14. . . .” (“Man Sickened by Ricin Is Arrested” [AP]; MSNBC.com; 4/16/2008.) 6. Next, the broadcast revisits a subject Mr. Emory has covered over a period of decades. In—among other programs--AFA#’s 19, 22, as well as FTR#’s 265, 284, Mr. Emory highlighted Colonia Dignidad or “The Colony,” as it is known. Founded by an Underground Reich-associated Luftwaffe veteran named Paul Schaefer, the compound has served as a political prison for opponents of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet, a hiding place for Nazi war criminals and a communications center for Operation Condor. (Operation Condor was an assassination cabal concocted by a consortium of Latin American military dictatorships and assisted by elements of U.S. intelligence.) Naturalized citizen Boris Weisfeiler disappeared in Chile in 1985, reportedly held prisoner at Colonia Dignidad and executed there. Investigations into his disappearance have been stymied in part by intransigence on the part of elements of the American bureaucracy, as well as deliberate obfuscation by the Chilean government. Another factor inhibiting the investigation is the economic clout mustered by the Colony’s supporters in Germany and Chile. The following statement by the Executive Director of Amnesty International in Chile seems to allude to the consummate economic clout of the Bormann capital network, the economic component of the Underground Reich! (For more about this subject, see—among other programs—FTR#’s 305 and 604, as well as the book Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile available for download for free on the Spitfire website.) “ . . . Amnesty International’s Chile Executive Director Sergio Laurenti attributes government inaction on the Weisfeiler case to fear of Schaefer’s political connections. ‘There is a lack of interest among Chilean authorities in carrying out a thorough investigation,’ said Laurenti. ‘Schaefer himself had a ring of protection for years. Schaefer and his associates have economic power both in Germany and in Chile.’ . . .” (“Sister Hopes for Answers from Chile” by Matthew Malinowski; San Francisco Chronicle; 6/12/2008; p. A10.) 7. Yet another subject Mr. Emory has researched for decades is arms dealer and drug-trafficker Monzer al-Kassar. Deeply involved with the Iran/Contra scandal, al-Kassar has been involved with drug trafficking and terrorism, including the Achille Lauro hijacking, the bombing of Pan Am 103 and the AMIA bombing in Argentina. (Among the many programs in which al-Kassar is discussed are: AFA#’s 32, 35, 38, as well as FTR#’s 5, 29, 109.) Al-Kassar has recently been arrested and extradited to the United States. “ . . . His name is Monzer al-Kassar, and he had recently come off a flight from Europe, followed by a 40-minute helicopter from Westchester jaunt from Westchester County Airport. . . .” (“An Arms Dealer in Shackles, Delivered to New York” by Alan Fisher; New York Times; 6/14/2008; p. A17.) 8. Reflecting William Faulkner’s observation that, “the past is never dead and buried, it isn’t even past,” the broadcast highlights the recent unsealing of a German archive of Third Reich documents. It remains to be seen what transpires of this event. One interesting aspect of this concerns why it took so long to declassify these archives? “After more than 60 years, Nazi documents stored in a vast warehouse in Germany wee unsealed Wednesday, opening a rich resource for Holocaust historians and for survivors to delve into their own tormented past. The documents could open new avenues of study into the inner workings of Nazi persecution from the exploitation of slave labor to the conduct of medical experiments. . . .” (“Vast Archive of Nazi Data Is Unsealed after 60 Years” by Arthur Max; San Francisco Chronicle; 11/29/2007; p. A15.) 9. Underscoring a subject covered by Mr. Emory in FTR#’s 560, 561, the discussion notes how turbulence in the Muslim world affects oil prices. The real story with regard to the warfare in the Middle East is the increase in petroleum price and the resulting profit to the oil companies and the oil-producing countries. “Benazir Bhutto’s assassination and fighting in northern Iraq might soon have a direct effect on your wallet. Both have helped push oil prices back up to near-record highs this week, reaching more than $96 per barrel. And gasoline prices are following suit, rising in the last few days after a month of declines. . . .” (“World Events Influence What We Pay” by David R. Baker; San Francisco Chronicle; 12/29/2007; pp. C1-C2.) 10. A sign of the times is the fact that the descendants of the Rockefellers are urging ExxonMobil to look past oil and embrace green technologies. As discussed in—among other programs--FTR#305, the Bormann capital network has as much influence in the Standard Oil companies as the Rockefeller family. Does the divergence of opinion between the MobilExxon management and the Rockefeller descendants stem from this phenomenon? Do the Rockefeller kin seek to align the company with the ecological imperatives of the future of the planet and civilization itself while the Underground Reich seeks to swell its coffers and enslave humanity with the prospect of a petroleum-scarcity apocalypse? (For more about the fascist “Peak Oil” philosophy and its fascistic logical correlates, see FTR#’s 506, 534.) “Members of the Rockefeller family, descended from the founder of what became Exxon Mobil Corp., challenged the oil giant Wednesday to focus more on renewable sources of energy. . . .” (“Think Past Oil, Rockefeller Kin Tell Exxon;” MSNBC.Com; 4/30/2008.) 11. Following up an inquiry made in FTR#591, the program notes that Bayer CropScience is withdrawing a pesticide blamed for the deaths of honeybees. As discussed in—among other programs--FTR#305, the major German corporations are under the control of the Bormann capital network. (FTR#576 documents the relationship of the I.G. Farben corporate complex to the Third Reich and its Underground component. Bayer is a key company of the old I.G. cartel.) In FTR#591, we noted that Bayer CropScience developed a type of genetically engineered rice that has seriously damaged the fortunes of American rice farmers. In that program, Mr. Emory noted the disappearance of bee colonies—essential for pollinating crops—and wondered aloud if Bayer CropScience might have something to do with that disappearance. Indeed! “Germany has banned a family of pesticides that are blamed for the deaths of millions of honeybees. . . . The chemical, produced by Bayer CropScience, a subsidiary of the German chemical giant Bayer, is sold in Europe under the trade name Poncho. . . .” (“Pesticides: Germany Bans Chemicals Linked to Honeybee Devastation” by Allison Benjamin; The Guardian; 5/23/2008.) 12. Supplementing information presented in FTR#588, the broadcast notes that a scientist has designed a prototype of a sophisticated electrical flying saucer. As discussed in that program, there are firm indications that UFO’s are real, but do not come from “outer space” and are not piloted by “aliens.” Is professor Roy’s discovery actually the first appearance of this type of technology, or has it been developed before? FTR #637 Catching Up with Daniel Hopsicker (Tue, 08 Jul 2008)
Recorded June 9, 2008 REALAUDIO Revisiting heroic investigative journalist Daniel Hopsicker, this broadcast updates the audience on some recent litigation in which he has been involved, as well as touching on the substance of some of his recent articles. Overmatched by the financial and legal artillery brought to bear by some of his formidable adversaries—individuals investigated by Daniel in conjunction with the activities surrounding the 9/11 attacks—he has been forced to capitulate due to a simple lack of resources. An individual identified by Daniel as the owner of a convenience store at which some of the 9/11 hijackers congregated sued him and forced a retraction. The store was actually owned by his brother-in-law. Relatives also owned others of this individual’s assets. A former lawyer for CIA operative and Iran-Contra drug trafficker Barry Seal sued Daniel as well. So did a German pilot, who frequented the South Florida milieu of the 9/11 hijackers. Stephan Verharen then took out a web address using Daniel’s name! A writer who won’t be facing the litigious firing squad confronted by Daniel is writing an account of the Florida doings of Mohamed Atta and company—presented as fiction! Alerted to a November 2001 article from the Los Angeles Times that corroborates his account of the German associates of Atta and company in Florida, Daniel and Mr. Emory spend much of the second side of the program excerpting the story and ruminating about it. The program concludes with synoptic accounts of some of Daniel’s recent investigative pieces. Program Highlights Include: Discussion of a recent Madcow article detailing the use of a plane placed at the disposal of the McCain campaign; discussion of the use of that plane to evacuate prominent Saudis from the United States in the immediate aftermath of 9/11; a synoptic account of a Madcow story setting forth the crash of a CIA-connected drug plane connected to the 9/11 attacks; the death in the crash of that drug plane of a prominent Venezuelan executive of Smartmatic, the parent company of Sequoia Voting Systems; review of the links between Smartmatic and Hugo Chavez; brief analysis of a Guyanese pilot connected to the milieu of Mohamed Atta and the 9/11 hijackers. 1. Much of the first side of the program highlights recent lawsuits against Daniel, which—regrettably—have gone against him, primarily due to the fact that he has not had enough money to successfully sustain the legal wrangling to a satisfactory conclusion. In this context, it is significant that the tactic of using litigation to suppress truth has become a tactic pursued by many of the individuals and elements implicated in the 9/11 attacks. The enormous petroleum wealth possessed by the Saudis and other Islamic reactionaries permits them to hammer those who are not as rich. Author Rachel Ehrenfeld is among those who have been burned by elements implicated in 9/11. Many of the litigants have filed suit in the United Kingdom, whose laws on slander and defamation are favored toward those who would suppress truth. 2. In discussion of a high-level employee of corrupt defense contractor Titan Corp., Daniel notes that the convenience store linked to Mohamed Atta and other 9/11 hijackers in South Florida was actually owned by the individual’s brother-in-law, as were other important assets which have figured in analysis of this individual in the past. According to Daniel, the individual in question has used relatives to assume nominal proprietary rights to key assets in order to maintain an opaque status concerning their ownership. 3. Reviewing another of the litigants who has pursued him, he related the story of one of the German pilots who associated with Atta and company in Florida. This individual—Stephan Verharen has taken out a domain name based on Daniel’s name! 4. Yet another of the litigants who has vexed Daniel is an attorney for Barry Seal, a CIA agent and key player in numerous intelligence-related imbroglios from the events in and around the assassination of President Kennedy to the cocaine traffic figuring in the Iran-Contra scandal. 5. Concluding the first side of the program, we highlighted some of the Russian mob connections to the flight schools and drug trafficking that figured in the South Florida aviation milieu in which Mohamed Atta and company were involved. 6. Adding an interesting item that is apposite to Mr. Emory’s work on the Nazi political novel Serpent’s Walk and FTR#385 [dealing with the Steve Shagan novel The Formula], Daniel noted that another writer is going to be publishing a “fictional” work incorporating the story of Mohamed Atta and company’s activity in South Florida. That, of course, has been the focal point of Daniel’s work in Welcome to Terrorland and many of his investigative pieces on www.madcowprod.com. 7. Daniel has published Welcome to Terrorland in paperback, with two additional chapters, dealing with some of the Russian mob connections to Atta and company’s activities in South Florida. 8. The second side of the program was improvisational and focused on an article from the Los Angeles Times that Mr. Emory set forth in FTR#336. An article from 11/15/2001 highlighted a German roommate of Ziad Jarrah, one of the 9/11 hijackers who trained in South Florida. He complained about the notoriety and surveillance to which he had been subjected as a result of his association with Jarrah and noted that NONE OF THE OTHER GERMANS AND AUSTRIANS MOVING IN AND OUT OF THIS MILIEU WERE DEALT WITH IN A SIMILAR MANNER! With election year upon us, it is interesting to take stock of the fact that a plane placed at the service of McCain’s campaign by one of his many lobbyists was used to ferry Saudi royals out of the United States in the immediate aftermath of 9/11. Tellingly [and predictably] the major media focused on the possibility that McCain may have executed a “soft landing” on the lobbyist, rather than on the aircraft and its past passengers. Supplementing Daniel’s coverage of the intelligence-connected drug trafficking milieu through which Atta and company infiltrated South Florida, the broadcast referenced an article about a Guyanese pilot linked to the drug trafficking and [apparently] elements of the CIA. A fascinating development concerns the death of Jose Alfredo Anzola—a Venezuelan national with links to the corrupt Smartmatic voting machine company. [Smartmatic is the parent company of Sequoia Voting Systems.] This individual died in the crash of a CIA-connected drug plane. In FTR#576, we looked at the links of this milieu to both Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez and economic elements linked to the Underground Reich through some of the elements of the old I.G. Farben complex. The crashed drug plane had links to elements of the milieu involved in the 9/11 attacks, including evidentiary tributaries running in the direction of Wally Hilliard, the owner of Huffman Aviation.
